DIGIT-A, the first collaborative economy ecosystem of companies specialized in the digital transformation sector, held the first Day of Digitalization in the Food Sector, with speakers from companies that are part of the ecosystem presenting different solutions to help achieve business objectives.
The event has been a success with the participation of 100 people representing 60 national and international companies in the food sector, among which we find a very representative distribution of technical and business profiles, which gives us an idea of the complexity and opportunities that digitalization is taking is this sector.
The event began with the intervention of Héctor Besga, Founder Director of DIGIT-A, who emphasized the need of organizations in digitalization efforts.
Then, as a special guest speaker, Javier Sirvent, technological evangelist and visionary of the world of technology, shared his conviction that no economic sector will be left out of the impact of digital transformation and will force companies to make changes in their model of business not to die. Especially highlighting the importance of the client in this entire transformation process, where the client is the center of everything.
Subsequently, Jon Zubia, Strategy Director of DIGIT-A, shared with the present some key points and trends that the food sector faces as a preamble to the presentations of companies in the DIGIT-A ecosystem.
The companies focused on success stories of different technological solutions for the food sector. Presentations were made on the importance of cybersecurity by Miguel Hormigos from GMV, automation solutions in the processes of supplying a company by José Ortega de Jaggaer,invoice management optimization process with Invoway, product developed by Delogica, likewise, Begoña Laibarra, Director of SQS, made a presentation on the importance of quality processes and testing of critical software and apps, Intelygenz, represented by one of its founding partners, Frederic Alluin, presented how Artificial Intelligence can help the company in customer service by giving a direct impact to the income statement, and by the hand of Myriam Vicente de Logalty Digital tools could be better understood to perform secure contracting in digital environments.
